The Whiteside County Highway Department is announcing the closure of Lyndon Road (south of
Route 30) to all thru traffic beginning Monday, June 21, 2010 through Friday, June 25, 2010
(weather permitting) to allow the Union Pacific Railroad to make repairs to their at-grade crossing
just east of Morrison. The area is located approximately 1½ miles east of the City of Morrison and
¼ mile south of Route 30.
The Union Pacific (UP) Railroad will perform the work with their forces and signing will help to
inform traffic until work on the crossing is completed. Motorists are advised to adjust their travel
plans where possible to avoid the construction area.

Department at 815-772-7651.
