The Supervisor of Assessments Office would like to announce a new website that will display the Property Record information in a more legible format, www.whitesidecountyassessor.com. We are in the process of getting all of our information on all of the properties in Whiteside County on legible Property Record cards with photos attached. Not all of the information or pictures are currently available on the website but the Townships Assessors are working hard to get this completed in a timely matter. We are currently focused on getting the residential and farms information entered first, commercial and industrial properties will follow. Please be patient with us as during this time. If you need property record card information that is not yet on the website please contact the Township Assessor as they maintain the property record cards and have this information. The Township Assessors contact information is also on this website. You may also access this website here on whiteside.org by going to Departments/Assessor/Property Record Card Information.

NEWS RELEASE

Dana Nelson, Whiteside County Clerk,
    Announced that new voter registration cards are beingmailed out to all registered voters in Whiteside County in the next few weeks. Please take the time to make sure that your name and address are correct on the new card. If you do not receiveyour new card, please contact the County Clerk’s office at 815-772-5189, as there might be aproblem with your registration. State law directs that if the new voter ID card is returned to the County Clerk by the post office as “undeliverable to the address listed”, the voter may bechanged to a “suspended” status and eventually dropped from the registration files.

We want to make sure that everyone is registered with their correct name and address so that
there are no problems on election day. Please note that your polling place is listed on your
registration card for your convenience.

Also, enclosed with your new Voter Registration card is a pamphlet on becoming an election
judge. We are in need of more election judges in Whiteside County and want everyone to be
aware of what is involved with becoming a judge. If you are interested, please fill out the
information and mail it to the County Clerk’s office.

   Remove existing leachate tank at Whiteside County's Closed Landfill and replace with a new tank and install associated appurtenances including pumps, piping and manhole.

PRESS RELEASE

Whiteside County will be holding two public meetings to discuss the issue of accepting Non-Hazardous Special Waste at Prairie Hill Recycling and Disposal facility (The County owned landfill). The first meeting will be held Tuesday, August 4^th, 2015 at 7pm in the Community Room on the 2nd Floor of the Sterling Coliseum located at 212 Third Ave., Sterling, IL. The second meeting will be held Thursday, August 6^th, 2015 at 7pm in the County Board Room of the Morrison Courthouse located at 200 E. Knox St., Morrison, IL (please use the north entrance).
