The Whiteside County Board adopted a new County Code at it's September 20th, 2016 meeting. The new County Code is available at: County Code

Whiteside County will be holding two public meetings to discuss the issue of accepting asbestos at Prairie Hill Recycling and Disposal facility(The County owned landfill). The first meeting will be held Wednesday, November 20^th,  2013 at 7pm in the County Board Room of the Morrison Courthouse located at 200 E. Knox St., Morrison, IL(please use the north entrance). The second meeting will be held Thursday, November 21^st, 2013 at 7pm in the Community Room on the 2nd Floor of the Sterling Coliseum located at 212 Third Ave., Sterling, IL.

The Public Works meeting scheduled for March 5th, 2013 has been postponed due the the weather. The meeting will be held March 7th at 3:45.

As of April 19th, 2011 visitors attending the Whiteside County Board meetings are asked to enter the Whiteside County Courthouse at the 3rd floor entrance located on the North side of the building. Doors open at 6:00 pm.

Visitors will not be allowed to bring cell phones, any other electronic devises ( unless pre-approved by the Sheriff ), pocket knives or anything that could be considered to be a weapon.

The Whiteside County Board meets at 6:30 pm on the Third Tuesday of each Month at the Whiteside County Law Enforcement Center, 400 N Cherry St. Morrison, IL 61270.
