Whiteside County Healthier Communities Partnership
The Whiteside County Healthier Communities Partnership has been in existence since 1996. Over 50 different agencies are involved in creating a healthier and safer Whiteside County. The partnership has learned to be creative and innovative to meet the urgent and ongoing needs of the community through collaboration. Through our three sub-committees, we have created strategies to address socio-economic and health disparities in Whiteside County.

Animal Control
The mission of Whiteside County Animal Control is to provide those animal control services that are mandated by state statute or prescribed by interagency agreements in an efficien, lawful, and personable manner. The mandated services are three: Rabies Control, Dangerous / Vicious Animal Control, and to pay claims for livestock losses due to dogs. Whiteside County Health Department oversees the daily operation of the animal control program.

Regional Office of Education
The Whiteside County Regional Office of Education acts as an advocate for education by providing positive leadership; performing regulatory functions as directed by The Illinois School Code and the Illinois State Board of Education; coordinating and delivering state and local services; and disseminating information for education, school, districts, and the community.
