The Whiteside County Highway Department has announced the 3 1/2 month closure of a 1 mile section of Lyndon Road beginning at 7:00 A.M. on Monday, May 17th, 2010 for the removal and replacement of a 3-span bridge plus related approach work.  Lyndon Road will be closed between Malvern Road on south to Clover Road on the north-approximately 1 mile.  The area is located approximately 4 1/2 miles NE of the City of Morrison and is 4 1/2 miles north of Route 30.

Lyndon Road(between Malvern Road and Clover Road) will be closed to all traffic during the 3 1/2 month construction period.  There will be no marked detours. Motorists are advised to adjust their travel plans accordingly until the construction is complete.
