Sealed bids will be accepted until 4:00 P.M., August 20, 2009 at the Whiteside County Highway Department, 18819 Lincoln Road, Morrison, IL 61270, (815)772-7651 for the sale of a 1998 International single axl dump truck and salt spreader.  The bids will be publicly opened and read at 10:00 A.M. on August 21, 2009.

Truck and salt spreader will be sold "as is" and will be available for viewing from August 3-14, 2009 (weekdays only) from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.  Minimum bid required is $15,500.  All bids must be submitted on forms supplied by the Whiteside County Highway Department and may be obtained at the address above.  The bid forms and instructions are also available by clicking here.

The Public Works Committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities and to accept the bid which is most advantageous to Whiteside County.
